The Final Four Showcase is an elite event for high school club teams that travels with the NCAA Men’s Division I College Cup, collegiate soccer’s version of the Final Four. St. Louis University is set to hold the 2006 NCAA College Cup, and Metro United and St. Louis Soccer Club will host the accompanying showcase. This premier showcase attracts teams from across America and Canada, and as the event coincides with the NCAA College Cup, the Final Four Showcase attracts a large number of college coaches.

The Final Four Showcase will commence on the morning of Friday December 1 and finish before the National Championship game on Sunday, December 3. Games will not be scheduled during the NCAA semi finals or finals so that the players are free to watch the highest level of soccer that our college system offers.
The Final Four Showcase will be held at the St. Louis Conference Center (Soccer Park) and at the Metro United Soccer Complex in Collinsville, IL. Teams will be housed in St. Louis, just minutes from St. Louis University and mid way between the two Showcase sites.
The event will be the pinnacle of soccer weekends for U16 through U18 boys select soccer players. Teams will have the opportunity to play on some of the best playing fields in the metropolitan area, be a part of the terrific scholastic atmosphere that only an NCAA National Championship can deliver, and possibly take part in the Hermann Award ceremony for the top NCAA men’s soccer player. The Final Four Showcase and College Cup experience is the perfect way for a young player to cap off his youth club career.
The 2006 Final Four Showcase will play host to 90-100 of the best teams in the country. The event is open to U16 – U18 teams that are sanctioned by the USYS or US Club Soccer. The U16 and some of the U17 teams will play at the Metro United Soccer Complex while the balance of U17 teams and U18 teams will play at the St. Louis Conference Center in Fenton. Teams will play one game per day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Because of limited space on Sunday morning, a few teams may have two games on Saturday.
Metro United has a long tradition of hosting quality youth events. We currently host the Metro United Boys Fall Classic, the #16 ranked tournament in the country, as well as one of the premier Showcase events in late March and early April.
