The St Louis metropolitan area has always been a hotbed for soccer in the United States, so we are excited to have the two best youth soccer clubs, Scott Gallagher and Metro United, from that area participating in U.S. Soccers Development Academy program. With the addition of the Academy programs, Scott Gallagher and Metro United have committed to providing the best possible player development environments for their players. The U.S. National Team programs look forward to working with both clubs on this exciting endeavor.

Certainly, one of the secrets to our success was our abundance of
skillful players. Virtually all of the boys varsity soccer players from
Edwardsville High School train with the Metro
FC Soccer Club. Known as one of the best clubs in the midwest,
Metro FC provides players with superior technical and tactical training.

Metro United Soccer Club played a huge part
in my development as a soccer player. With
quality training provided, the club helped me
to be the player I am today. I am now living
my dream as a professional player in MLS.

Dale, I really wanted to let you know that Keo and I appreciate everything you and the all the coaches at Metro have done and continue to do for our family on and off the field. Bringing the kids here to the Metro program has def been one of our best decisions ever !! I can't wait to see what the future holds for Mara & Seth.
